Has EFF.ORG Been Taken Down By Homeland In-Security? – Updated

Probably it’s just a server problem, but EFF.ORG is down, and with all of the recent actions by the so-called Department of Homeland Security in the United States, you have to wonder. Too many Americans seem to think that anyone who disagrees with them is a terrorist.

So it is possible, if however unlikely. Which is why I host in Canada, and use a Canadian Domain. If the Americans get paranoid, they’d have to go to a Canadian court to get me taken down.

And let’s face it. I’m a disagreeable sort. I’ll argue with anyone.

Update: EFF.ORG is now responding, but not well. It looks like they may have been Slashdotted, or possibly be under a Denial of Service Attack. I suspect they will issue a statement shortly.
